Some of you may already have met her, some of you may not. Either way, an introduction is way overdue for the newest member of our growing team at Align Financial – here’s 60 seconds with Julia!
What is your role at Align Financial and when did you start?
My role is Office and Communications Manager (aka everything that Darren and Lindsey don’t want to do!). I walked down the road from home and into the office around the beginning of August 2016.
How would you describe yourself?
Very shy but won’t shut up once you get to know me. A banana – yellow on the outside but white on the inside!
Your weekends generally look like..?
Shopping, playing tennis, going to the beach, watching a good movie and having a nice home cooked family meal!
If you won the lottery tomorrow, how would you live your life?
I would move out of home! Pay my parents’ mortgage off, donate some to charity and take off travelling.
Favourite TV show?
Breaking Bad, Have You Been Paying Attention.
Favourite music/singer/band?
So many to list, so little space! Wild Nothing, Chicane, Bjork, The Smiths, Celine Dion (!), mainly stuff that’s not death metal.
Favourite food?
Spaghetti bolognase

What’s one thing on your “bucket list”?
See the earth’s natural wonders.
Do you like Darren’s hair long or short?
Short for sure.
